Project Manager, EH&S Compliance at Turnkey Compliance Solutions, LLC
Does this Describe You?
You are self-motivated, can work independently, and are a goal-oriented person with an unwavering can-do attitude. You have a knack for technical writing, attention to detail, and keeping things organized. You own your projects. You know your client’s name, their spouse’s name and what their children do for fun. You work well with others, speak confidently in front of a large group, and embrace change. You remain focused in an environment which changes almost daily, and thrive on finding the solution to the “out of the box” problem. You are a great communicator with a strong technical background and some previous consulting experience - or, better yet, an equivalent that is of tremendous value to our team.
This Describes Us…
One promise - you’ll never be bored! Self-doubters and folks that let work pile up for others need not apply. We will give you more responsibility than you think you can handle, but the impossible challenges will quickly turn into an impressive list of victories, and we are a company that celebrates victories! We know and love our clients and treat them like family. We excel at client satisfaction and technical proficiency. We also excel at keeping our team satisfied and challenged, but not overloaded. Failure is not in our DNA, and we strongly believe in a balance between work and fun. Giving back to the community is important, so we give our team members cash to make donations to the charity of their choice and in their name. We sponsor scholarship funds so our community can share in our success. We listen to our customer’s needs, partner closely with them, and move quickly to succeed in our mission with them. We believe we have the best team in the business because we do it different and we do it better.

We are seeking a dynamic individual in Connecticut to become a part of our success. While we have a small office in New Britain, CT, we are better described as a virtual company of self-directed, motivated and charismatic individuals. Our dress code is casual; some of our best work is done while wearing jeans and polo shirts.
For this position, we seek a highly experienced, entrepreneurial candidate – knowledgeable in the field of environmental compliance and health and safety – who requires little supervision. Someone who will flourish in an environment where self-initiative and a strong work ethic are the standard. Superior aptitude coupled with a superior attitude is necessary for success, as is the desire to address and resolve problems in creative ways in a timely and cost-effective manner.
While a high level of critical and strategic thinking is necessary, it is equally important to be hands-on, roll up your sleeves and get it done. Given the nature and demands of the work, you must possess outstanding communication skills – not only in oral presentation, but also in researching and writing complex program documents. Specifically, our next team member must have:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with one of the following majors: engineering, environmental science, chemistry, biology, natural resource management, or business with an environmental focus. A master’s degree is a plus.
Ten or more years of environmental, health and safety program experience (e.g., compliance, pollution prevention, industrial hygiene, due diligence and safety) – preferably as a consultant with a focus on project management.
Experience in project management skills, which include: planning, scheduling, and cost estimation and risk evaluation/management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Ability to present ideas clearly, concisely, and accurately, both verbal and written.
Ability to audit a facility and constructively define compliance gaps and recommended corrective actions, including building a program to meet the client’s needs.
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt to changing needs and priorities.
What You Get In Exchange…
Employee retention plan
Flexible time-off policy
Medical/dental plans based on your needs
Reimbursement for all travel mileage
